Engineering activity related to environmental protection

The Envirotis Holding has been engaged in environmental protection-related planning, design, and site supervision in the areas of industrial and residential waste management systems, remediation, and recultivation for 25 years. In accordance with the desired objectives (implementation of a new facility or remediation), environmental protection-related engineering includes assessment of the existing situation. It then prepares a methodology for the intervention technology based on considerations of environmental impact and provides technical assistance services: the preparing of feasibility and environmental impact assessment studies, management of official application procedures, preparation of documentation for public procurement procedures, and on site project management services and technical engineer supervision of the construction.
In accordance with the technical conditions and feasibility criteria of the area, it then prepares a technical intervention plan, submits any required environmental and technical applications to the competent authorities, and provides full technical supervision and follow-up services.

Areas of environmental protection planning

  • Full-scale environmental inspections, environmental performance assessments, and auditing
  • Performance of environmental protection tasks related to site valuation and rehabilitation for industrial, military, and agricultural companies.
  • The preparation of environmental protection surveys for industrial, commercial, agricultural, water regulatory, and real estate development projects.
  • Environmental real estate rating surveys and provision of cost estimates related to instances of environmental damage.
  • Environmental risk analysis, computer-aided environmental pollution modelling, and hydrogeological transport modelling.
  • Environmental pollution-related damage control and remediation planning: exploration of polluted areas, environmental diagnostics on structures prior to demolition, confinement of pollution in both soil and subsurface waters, damage control planning, and facility and technology planning.
  • Complete planning of waste management, waste utilization, and waste management and utilisation technologies and facilities.
  • Planning of regular surveys, cadastral surveys, environmental-geological preliminary testing, and recultivation:
    - waste disposal sites,
    - areas damaged by mining activity or
    - suffering from other environmental damage.
  • Planning of soil and water protection and air quality monitoring systems.
  • Water exploration, water resources planning, well-digging, the performance of tasks related to water resource protection, revitalisation of surface waters, flood control, and the construction of a lowland reservoirs.
  • Engineering geology, construction hydrology, environmental geology, geotechnology, and water damage control planning tasks related to land use planning and the preservation of monuments.

Technical assistance service
The Holding’s technical assistance service provides project management expertise to assist its clients during a project’s implementation stage. Based on approved project documentation and execution plans, technical assistance designs, it coordinates and verifies the work of the project staff throughout the entire implementation. The service also manages any procedures related to the acquisition of official permits and licenses and maintains contact with both the client and licencing authorities and construction companies. It furthermore prepares the technical and environmental protection reports that reveal the project outcome. Based on project progress, the service updates all schedules and, where needed, re-plans and organises resources. Technical assistance represents the client and manages the project budget.

Construction supervision
The job of a construction supervisor is to cooperate with and supervise the activity of technical assistance, ensuring that each environmental project is implemented in a professional manner that complies with all scheduling and budget requirements. On behalf of the client, the construction supervisor ensures compliance

with all quality requirements, even where plans have been modified during the implementation process, checks the results of various tests, and ensures that implementation will be completed to the required quality standard.
